Use of Bureaucat is at your own risk

Bureaucat is software that helps you organise your own paperwork and read and answer messages from public bodies. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

Bureaucat is provided "as it is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, complete, up to date, or fit for any particular purpose.

Information, not advice

Bureaucat gives information and tools. It is not tax, legal, accounting, immigration, financial or any other professional advice, and it does not create a professional relationship. Deadlines, explanations, summaries, translations, drafts and figures it produces (including anything produced with AI) can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, and official rules and websites change without notice.

Always check anything important against the original document and, where a deadline, fine, appeal, residency or large amount is involved, with a qualified professional (a gestor, graduado social, lawyer or tax adviser) before you act.

You are responsible

Limits of our responsibility

To the fullest extent the law allows, the makers of Bureaucat are not liable for any loss, damage, penalty, surcharge, interest, missed deadline, lost data or other consequence (direct or indirect, including loss of money, time or opportunity) arising from using, or being unable to use, Bureaucat, from errors or omissions in it, or from anything a third party (an official body, a portal, your email provider, an AI service, a gestor) does or fails to do.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability or any consumer right that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

Free and early-access versions

Versions given free or marked early access are provided for testing and feedback, may contain bugs, and may change or stop working. Keep your original documents and your own backups.
